Short Bread Cookies
i 1/2 cup cornstarch 1/2 cup icing sugar 1-cup flour 3/4 cup butter.
Mix cornstarch, icing sugar and flour together.
Blend in butter with spoon, mixing until soft, smooth dough forms. Shake dough into 1-inch balls.
Place about 1 1/2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with a lightly floured fork.
Bake in 300: F oven 20-25 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned Makes about 3 dozens.
Note: if dough is too soft to handle, cover and chill about 1 hour
牛油餅乾
材料:
Cornstarch 玉米澱粉 1/2杯
Icing sugar 糖粉 1/2杯
Flour 麵粉 1杯
butter 牛油 3/4杯
作法:
1. 混合玉米澱粉,糖粉和麵粉一起。
2. 融入牛油湯匙,攪拌至軟,光滑的麵團形式。
3. 把麵團分成1英寸的球。壓扁了約1寸半的厚度,再用叉輕輕壓出图案或用曲奇模。
4. 烤300:F烤箱20分鐘,或直到邊緣焦黃。
注意,如果麵糰太軟,用保鮮紙包放入冰箱凍一會。
